THE RECIPE

At The Brick Haus we focus on quality and originality. We deliver this through our tried and true cold process technique. You'll find that not all our soaps are available all year long, and for good reason. Using seasonal, organic ingredients, each batch is crafted, cured, and individually wrapped by hand. All soap is scented with 100% botanical ingredients and essential oils. Our unique colors and textures come from specially sourced oils, natural abrasives, toxin absorbing clays and more.

All of our products are free from synthetic fragrances, detergents, artificial colorants, parabens, sulfates, and animal products.

We use no industrial equipment to process our soaps. This way you know each bar was given the special attention it deserves.

FORM

As the name of our company suggests, we’ve focused on geometry as an integral part of our ethos. Bricks are the foundation to a strong and secure dwelling, and that’s what we have tried to harness in our product. We have chosen the size and shape of our bars for comfortable handling and use. No odd waves or curves, no protruding or jagged edges. Simply, a brick.

THE DETAILS

Each bar of soap comes wrapped in hand made 100% organic recyclable paper embedded with wild flower seeds, imported from a small family owned business in India. The sheet is sun dried and hand torn to fit the bar. We then print our name directly onto the paper and seal the wrapper with an embossed wax seal to ensure authenticity. Finally, each bar is numbered by hand.

“Wait? Embedded with wild flower seeds?”

Yes! Once you’re done removing our wonderful soap from the wrapper, lay the paper under some potting soil, water, and watch gorgeous wildflowers germinate and grow.

From the biodegradable printing ink, to the recycled wax used for the seals, no materials are ever wasted. Environmental consciousness is always at the forefront here at The Brick Haus.
